About
Your IT advisor should sit on your side of the table.
I started Piedmont IT Advisors to teach. Most businesses already pay for capable technology — Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and now AI — and use only a fraction of what it can do. I love showing a team what its own tools can do. That’s the heart of this firm.
Why we exist
The licenses are already on the invoice.
But nobody ever showed the team what the tools can do, so the work gets done the slow way — while the platforms that could carry more of it sit half-used.
So we teach first — it’s the work we love, and the value that stays with your team. The audit comes second: when a contract or license bill is bloated, we find the waste and cut it. Either way, the advice serves you, not a vendor.

In his own words
Over 25 years in IT teaches you a few things. I trained myself from the ground up because I wanted to know exactly what I was looking at, down to the line item.
I'm still studying the business side formally, because knowing the technology was never the whole job. Knowing the business is.
Here's the pattern I've watched for over 25 years: companies sign IT contracts they don't fully understand, pay for licenses nobody touches, and take advice from providers who earn more when they spend more. That's not a broken system. It's the system working exactly as designed — just not for you.
An advisor should be a fiduciary. Someone who tells you what you'd tell yourself if you had the time and the expertise to dig in. That's the firm I built.
Want this working for your business?
Equip the team you have with AI agents — not more hires. Your team builds its own agents, inside your own software, under approval rules you control — and Equip the Team You Have teaches them how.
